Sandra ~ Glamour Shots

Okay, so this session was totally a huge step out of my normal comfort zone, but it was so much fun! Sandra is a colleague from work, but also an accomplished blogger, and was looking for some headshots for her blog. She also wanted to get some mother/daughter shots with Zoe (who is just as gorgeous as her momma!). We met up on a day in early September that suddenly decided to be fall. It was surprisingly chilly that day, but she rocked it in those summer dresses. Enjoy your photos Sandra....and anytime you want to play dress up again, just call me over!

Caden ~ 6 Months

I can't believe this little guy is already 6 months old! (Well actually, more like 7 now!) This was an interesting stage to try and photograph. Caden is a lot more smiley then he was at 3 months, but at the time of our shoot, he still couldn't sit well. He also is still not a huge fan of tummy time so I had to improvise with my pictures. Still, I'm pleased with the results! It will be interesting to see what he's like in another three months!

Caden ~ 3 Months

For a long time I've been wanting to do a growing series of photos for a baby in my life -- taking pictures throughout the year to showcase the baby at different stages of development until the baby turns one year old. Typically these shoots are done at birth, 3 months, 6 months (and/or sitting), and then at one year. Some series will also include a shoot at 9 months. Since I see his momma on a fairly regular basis anyway, I've decided to make little Caden my guinea pig, so I can practice doing shoots on different ages of babies, and I don't expect his mom will be objecting! These photos were shot on a lovely sunny afternoon, and though I didn't get any smiles from him, he was still a (mostly) willing model. Enjoy!

Camden is One!

Well it certainly feels like the last year flew by! In some ways I feel like I just finished doing this couple's maternity and newborn photos, but sure enough, sweet little Camden is almost one! We had a fun afternoon out in Carman capturing this adorable little guy's personality. He was a little shy and uncertain at first, but certainly warmed up to me by the end of the day! Another fun aspect to these photos was that we were able to follow up on some of our previous shooting locations. We (of course) had to go shoot in the Carman Duffferin fire hall (which I think just may have to become a yearly tradition!), and we were able to get a number of photos in the gazebo where Ellinor and I did some of her maternity photos. Enjoy!

Trevor + Julie + Norah + Scarlett ~ Family

Oh how I love this family! I've had the honour of photographing them for three years in a row now. We always take advantage of the beautiful fall colours in their own backyard which makes for a more personal setting for their photos. Their two girls are so sweet, although little Norah is definitely a little firecracker! I never know what kind of a reaction I'm going to get from her when I see her...usually each photo session runs the gamut of emotion from her being over the moon to see me, and her regarding me with a wary stare. I don't mind...it makes it that much easier to capture her personality! :) Hope you enjoy your photos guys!

Fall Fun in Niverville

This is the second time I've driven out to the L family's home to do their photos for them. They live on a beautiful piece of property out in the country, so both years we have just made use of the natural beauty in their front and back yard as a backdrop. When you add to that the gorgeous light we had, it was easy to capture great photos of this gorgeous family! Miss N was a lot more outgoing this year, and a lot more active, so it was a lot of fun capturing her personality. Julie and Trev, it was a pleasure as always! Enjoy your photos!

Abby turns 1!

Another grey day, another successful session without rain! Seems to be happening to me a lot so far this year! Abby was more than happy to have me follow her around with the camera, though she was a little puzzled at first why I was so interested! We had lots of fun in her Grandma's back yard together.
