Penelope ~ Newborn

Oh sweet miss Penelope. I was able to first meet this little one in the hospital where I captured some photos of her sweet sleepiness. Of course all that sleepiness was just a memory when I went to her house to do her posed photos! Her momma and I worked for over an hour to finally convince this little one to sleep. I think her momma agrees with me though that the effort was worth it! Enjoy the photos!

Scarlett ~ Newborn

My most recent "work baby" that I was lucky enough to capture was sweet Miss Scarlett. I caught some photos of her still in the hospital, and then went to her home for her session. This trouble-maker barely slept a wink her entire session at home, there was probably too much going on since she has a very active and loving big sister in Norah, but she was still cooperative to having a camera in her face. Good thing too, since I've been lucky enough to capture this family on more than one occasion, and I'm sure the family photos won't be stopping any time soon! Enjoy the photos!

Sweet Miss T

Some people think that just because I work with newborn babies every day, I would somehow be "over" them, immune to their sweet smell, fuzzy heads and goofy old man expressions. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth...I'm a bit of an addict when it comes to tiny babies, and when it's a baby that I know, they are automatically at least 10 times cuter then a baby I don't. That's why, when Miss T was (finally!) born, I was very excited to go see her and do some hospital photographs. We'll still get some more formal photos at some point, but for now, enjoy the sweetness of Miss T!
