This was my first time photographing this family and it couldn't have gone any better! Despite being an absolutely frigid morning, the kids were so well behaved and posed through their chattering teeth. ;) After some posed photos, we all warmed up playing at the park! Enjoy the photos!

Kelsey + Joleen + C + N + K + B ~ Family

I have more fall fun to share with you guys! This session was on the most beautiful day imaginable. The first day of October, and it was so warm! Of course that meant that the park was full of people, including lots of other photographers and family, but we were still able to have a fantastic session. I've been photographing this family since they were a family of four (and 3/4 I guess), and since then they've added two beautiful little girls to the mix. Sweet baby Brielle was so much fun this year...every time the family said "Cheese!" she mimicked their voices and shot me a huge grin! Hope you enjoy the photos!

Kelsey + Joleen + Carter + Nolan + Karis ~ Family and Maternity

This family was so much fun to shoot! Even though it's been a couple years since I did maternity photos and baby photos of Karis, it felt very natural to photograph them on a warm June evening. Luckily the weather was perfect for photos (although we could have done with a few less mosquitoes, right Joleen?) because we had scattered thunderstorms that evening. It was pouring rain at my place when I ran to the car with my gear, and I drove through rain most of the way to St. Vital Park! At the park however, we were blessed with sunny skies and barely a sprinkle of rain. I'm looking forward to meeting the newest member of this awesome family! Enjoy the photos!

Jay + Monique + Keston + Tavian + Soleil ~ Family

Oh me, oh my. I love photographing my friends and family, but every once in awhile there is a session that happens that is just so special, and so beyond other sessions. Where all the little things line up "just so" and make for some truly memorable images. Well this session, on a cold (!) and dreary fall afternoon was certainly one for me. I am SO proud of these images, and I hope that the family is pretty pleased with them as well. These photos are anything but cold and dreary!

Scarlett is One!

Almost forgot to add this little sweetie to the blog! It seems like it wasn't that long ago that she was this little peanut, but sure enough, here she is one year old! Such a serious little girl, but we still had a great session out in St. Vital Park. Love that fluffy hair and those big blue eyes! Happy birthday sweetie.
