Scarlett is One!

Almost forgot to add this little sweetie to the blog! It seems like it wasn't that long ago that she was this little peanut, but sure enough, here she is one year old! Such a serious little girl, but we still had a great session out in St. Vital Park. Love that fluffy hair and those big blue eyes! Happy birthday sweetie.

Blake ~ Newborn

Oh this little stinker. So sweet, but he completely refused to sleep or relax during his pictures. Good thing he's adorable no matter what! That hair, those sweet lips, and those big blue eyes! He's definitely going to be a charmer. :)

Andrew + Lisa + kids ~ Family

Despite being family, Andrew and Lisa have only made it on to my blog twice, once as a couple, and once as a family. Traditionally whenever I try to do their family photos we are fraught with bad luck, whether it be poor timing, bad weather, or in the case of the one session on the blog here, a rogue mud puddle! Not the case with this session! We had beautiful warm weather, cooperative kids, and not a mud puddle in sight! ;) Hopefully this is the start of some better luck, photography-wise!

  

Camden is One!

Well it certainly feels like the last year flew by! In some ways I feel like I just finished doing this couple's maternity and newborn photos, but sure enough, sweet little Camden is almost one! We had a fun afternoon out in Carman capturing this adorable little guy's personality. He was a little shy and uncertain at first, but certainly warmed up to me by the end of the day! Another fun aspect to these photos was that we were able to follow up on some of our previous shooting locations. We (of course) had to go shoot in the Carman Duffferin fire hall (which I think just may have to become a yearly tradition!), and we were able to get a number of photos in the gazebo where Ellinor and I did some of her maternity photos. Enjoy!

Nate + Amanda + Logan + Hailey + Lillian ~ Family

This family is so much fun to photograph. Despite the fact that we *always* seem to have less than ideal weather when we do family photos (see here and here), they are always ready to brave the weather. Even the kids tough it out, rain or shine. The oldest two were fascinated by the water in the various fountains and the fun they had kept us all distracted from the blustery weather. Thanks for letting me do your photos again this year guys! It's so great watching your kids grow up!
