Darryl + Ali + Eden ~ Family/Maternity

A couple of weeks before little Leo made his appearance, I met up with Darryl and Ali to do some family and maternity photos at our neighbourhood park. We did some photos, but mostly just played at the park. Such is life when photographing an 18 month old! ;) Enjoy the photos!

Stephanie + Robert ~ Maternity

This couple was so sweet to work with! Totally easy going, open to suggestions, and of course, totally photogenic! We were worried about the weather, thinking we were going to be rained out, but thankfully we stayed dry. We stuck close to their home, doing some photos in a park nearby their place, and also in their nursery and master bedroom. I hope you love your photos guys, and I can't wait to meet your little girl in a few weeks! :)

Kelsey + Joleen + Carter + Nolan + Karis ~ Family and Maternity

This family was so much fun to shoot! Even though it's been a couple years since I did maternity photos and baby photos of Karis, it felt very natural to photograph them on a warm June evening. Luckily the weather was perfect for photos (although we could have done with a few less mosquitoes, right Joleen?) because we had scattered thunderstorms that evening. It was pouring rain at my place when I ran to the car with my gear, and I drove through rain most of the way to St. Vital Park! At the park however, we were blessed with sunny skies and barely a sprinkle of rain. I'm looking forward to meeting the newest member of this awesome family! Enjoy the photos!

Darryl + Ali ~ Maternity

In some ways it seems pretty crazy that just over two years ago, I was shooting engagement photos for these two, and in other ways it feels like Ali has always been a part of the family. It was great to capture some maternity photos for these two, though I told them that they need to start planning their major life events around nicer weather! ;) At least the baby photos in a few weeks will be done indoors. :) Enjoy the photos!

Dave + Mel + Dominic + Baby ~ Maternity and Family

I spent a chilly and cloudy afternoon with this great family a few weeks ago. Dave and Mel are expecting their second baby soon, so we did some maternity, some family, and of course, some auntie shots all in one great session. Hope you love your photos guys!

Joleen + Kelsey + Carter + Nolan ~ Family and Maternity

On a very hot August day (which seems so long ago on this cold September day!) I went down to the St. Norbert Monastery Ruins with this sweet little family. Joleen and I work together (yes, she was one of the many pregnant nurses) and she wanted to get some maternity and family photos done in the beautiful weather. Neither of us knew, however, how hot it was in the ruins! The sun made it difficult to be comfy in the heat, but made for beautiful photographs. We were able to find some shady places and below are some of the photos we captured. Good thing too, since her baby girl is now here! Stay tuned to the blog for sweet baby Karis's newborn photos!

Lauren + Chad ~ Maternity

My summer is just full of babies this year, and I'm loving every second of it! Lauren and Chad were expecting their first baby this summer, and just a couple weeks after we did these photos, little Carys made a (slightly) early arrival! She's so sweet (stay tuned for her newborn photos) and Lauren and Chad are going to be fabulous parents to her!
