Camden is One!

Well it certainly feels like the last year flew by! In some ways I feel like I just finished doing this couple's maternity and newborn photos, but sure enough, sweet little Camden is almost one! We had a fun afternoon out in Carman capturing this adorable little guy's personality. He was a little shy and uncertain at first, but certainly warmed up to me by the end of the day! Another fun aspect to these photos was that we were able to follow up on some of our previous shooting locations. We (of course) had to go shoot in the Carman Duffferin fire hall (which I think just may have to become a yearly tradition!), and we were able to get a number of photos in the gazebo where Ellinor and I did some of her maternity photos. Nate + Amanda + Logan + Hailey + Lillian ~ Family

This family is so much fun to photograph. Despite the fact that we *always* seem to have less than ideal weather when we do family photos (see here and here), they are always ready to brave the weather. Even the kids tough it out, rain or shine. The oldest two were fascinated by the water in the various fountains and the fun they had kept us all distracted from the blustery weather. Thanks for letting me do your photos again this year guys! It's so great watching your kids grow up!

Dean turns one!

Oh sweet Mr. Dean. Hard to believe he's one already! It seems like he was this little wide awake newborn from here, but now he is a happy little boy who loves his momma and loves his big sister! His party was a blast as well, and he looked so cute in his traditional Korean outfit! Lots of love to you little man...I'm sure I'll blink and it will be time for you to turn two already!

Penelope ~ Newborn

Oh sweet miss Penelope. I was able to first meet this little one in the hospital where I captured some photos of her sweet sleepiness. Of course all that sleepiness was just a memory when I went to her house to do her posed photos! Her momma and I worked for over an hour to finally convince this little one to sleep. I think her momma agrees with me though that the effort was worth it! Enjoy the photos!

Taylor ~ Newborn

Somehow I have inadvertently become a newborn photographer! I certainly don't mind when it means I get to hang out with cuties like little miss Taylor. This trouble maker had absolutely no interest in sleeping during her session, but we were still able to catch her sweet little personality on film. I think she's just trying to stay active so she can keep up with her big sisters! Biggest sister Peyton was fascinated with all my props and gear, and more than happy to help style this session -- most of the headbands were picked out by her! Maybe we have another budding photographer in the family, huh Auntie Des? ;) Anyway, please enjoy the photos!
