Camden ~ Newborn

Alright, so here's your warning...this is a photo heavy post. And it's full of cuteness. :) Little Camden was probably my best behaved newborn to date. Other than a quick feed, this little guy was more than happy to be in front of the lens, and as you'll see, manipulated into a few different poses! Ellie and Colin have been waiting a long time to love on this little guy (you can read their infertility story here), but God certainly provided for them! I love this little guy a ton, and after seeing his photos, I hope you will too! Enjoy!

Joleen + Kelsey + Carter + Nolan ~ Family and Maternity

On a very hot August day (which seems so long ago on this cold September day!) I went down to the St. Norbert Monastery Ruins with this sweet little family. Joleen and I work together (yes, she was one of the many pregnant nurses) and she wanted to get some maternity and family photos done in the beautiful weather. Neither of us knew, however, how hot it was in the ruins! The sun made it difficult to be comfy in the heat, but made for beautiful photographs. We were able to find some shady places and below are some of the photos we captured. Good thing too, since her baby girl is now here! Stay tuned to the blog for sweet baby Karis's newborn photos!

Scarlett ~ Newborn

My most recent "work baby" that I was lucky enough to capture was sweet Miss Scarlett. I caught some photos of her still in the hospital, and then went to her home for her session. This trouble-maker barely slept a wink her entire session at home, there was probably too much going on since she has a very active and loving big sister in Norah, but she was still cooperative to having a camera in her face. Good thing too, since I've been lucky enough to capture this family on more than one occasion, and I'm sure the family photos won't be stopping any time soon! Enjoy the photos!

Emery ~ Newborn

Oh this sweet little ginger boy...I can't tell you how many people were thrilled when this boy was born with a hint of him mom's fiery locks. :) He wasn't thrilled with the idea of posing for photos for me, but that didn't stop me from catching a few photos of his sleepy little face. Hope his mommy and daddy love the photos!

Lisa + Andrew ~ Couple

My sister and her husband recently celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary. To celebrate, I met them downtown in the Exchange district after they enjoyed a kid-free dinner. We wandered through the Exchange and captured a few photos of the love that is still strong between them, apparently strong enough that they got mistaken for an engaged couple. ;) I hope you love the photos guys!
