Penelope ~ Newborn

Oh sweet miss Penelope. I was able to first meet this little one in the hospital where I captured some photos of her sweet sleepiness. Of course all that sleepiness was just a memory when I went to her house to do her posed photos! Her momma and I worked for over an hour to finally convince this little one to sleep. I think her momma agrees with me though that the effort was worth it! Enjoy the photos!

Taylor ~ Newborn

Somehow I have inadvertently become a newborn photographer! I certainly don't mind when it means I get to hang out with cuties like little miss Taylor. This trouble maker had absolutely no interest in sleeping during her session, but we were still able to catch her sweet little personality on film. I think she's just trying to stay active so she can keep up with her big sisters! Biggest sister Peyton was fascinated with all my props and gear, and more than happy to help style this session -- most of the headbands were picked out by her! Maybe we have another budding photographer in the family, huh Auntie Des? ;) Anyway, please enjoy the photos!

Lillian ~ Newborn

Oh this little one, she made me work for these photos! Lillian spent a few weeks in the hospital after she was born, and her fighting spirit was evident when she fought tooth and nail to stay awake during her photos, despite all of our efforts to the contrary. Thankfully she finally fell asleep at the end of her session, and we were still able to get some great shots. Enjoy!

Mikayla ~ Newborn

After a quiet winter on the photography front, and a couple of cancelled sessions, I was finally able to pull out my camera again. Even better, this session was for my sweet new niece! We did a very quick session in Grandma's sun room, but thankfully miss Mikayla was very cooperative, and we were able to get some great shots! Trevor + Julie + Norah + Scarlett ~ Family

Oh how I love this family! I've had the honour of photographing them for three years in a row now. We always take advantage of the beautiful fall colours in their own backyard which makes for a more personal setting for their photos. Their two girls are so sweet, although little Norah is definitely a little firecracker! I never know what kind of a reaction I'm going to get from her when I see her...usually each photo session runs the gamut of emotion from her being over the moon to see me, and her regarding me with a wary stare. I don't mind...it makes it that much easier to capture her personality! :) Hope you enjoy your photos guys!
